Fundraising

On Wednesday 10th October the pupils of Broad Oak CP School visited Broad Oak Pre School for a Harvest Celebration. This was a fantastic morning where pupils all shared songs, dances, poems and prayers all giving thanks for our Harvest time. Donations of dried and tinned foods were collected and donated to Hailsham Food Bank providing 179 meals for families in need.

On Friday 28th September the year 6 pupils ran a coffee morning selling cakes and drinks for parents and carers of Broad Oak School. There were additional games and a raffle which were well managed by the children. At play time the pupils from the school were invited to buy a cake with some squash and finally after school remaining cakes were sold. An amazing total of £200.55  was raised and donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
